The funds we raise will be used for production costs, crew fees, location fees, post-production editing and music composition. Every penny will go towards making Hope the impactful and beautiful film it deserves to be.
Logline:
Hope's journey to Brighton is meant to be an escape, but it becomes a path to self-discovery and healing as she learns to embrace her past and rebuild her life.
Storyline:
Hope moves to Brighton, hoping to find peace. After losing her father and struggling with feelings of abandonment and anxiety, she becomes involved with a local pub owned by Mr. Thompson, a fatherly figure who inspires her to reconnect with her love for music. Together with Nick, a supportive friend, and the community, they organize a fundraising event to save the pub. Throughout this journey, Hope learns to face her fears, heal from her past, and build a new life filled with purpose and connection.

A young woman, grappling with the weight of her past, finds herself at a crossroads. As she meets an old musician who becomes her mentor, their unlikely friendship helps her rediscover her passion for life and music. Jenny:
Jenny is Mr. Thompson’s determined and caring younger sister. She is practical and a realist who often worries about her brother’s well-being, believing the pub is a burden rather than a blessing.

Viktorija Faith (Writer/Director):
Viktorija Faith is a filmmaker, writer, director and actress who is growing her reputation as a filmmaker of heartfelt stories based on true events. Viktorija recently wrapped two indie films which are currently in post production. A University of West London graduate, Viktorija studied filmmaking in Los Angeles, trained with celebrity coach Ivana Chubbock and later Meisner technique at Peacock Theatre in London. Viktorija has extensive experience in the world of television having worked with SKY, BBC, HBO, Warner Bros & Netflix and on independent film projects as Director, 1st Assistant Director and Editor.
Pallavi Kumar (Writer):
Pallavi Kumar is an international screenwriter based in London who holds an MA in Screenwriting from the London Film School. Pallavi has co-written multiple short films and is passionate about writing coming-of-age and family dramas. Before transitioning to screenwriting, she worked as a copywriter, where her award-winning ad campaigns garnered industry recognition. Pallavi was also integral in the creative success of Eastbourne International Film Festival 2024.
Carla Fuschillo (Director of Photography)
Carla Fuschillo is an accomplished cinematographer with extensive experience in films, commercials, and music videos. With a strong background in lighting and camera work, she brings artistic visions to life on screen. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, with further studies at UCLA, Carla's work includes award-winning cinematography in 'Cheer Up, It’s Christmas', and contributions to projects like 'Ankahe', 'The Interpreter', and 'Tale of the Forest Unicorn'.
Emile Ryan (Producer & Casting Director):
Emile is Founder of talent agency, 'Model Talent UK', and he represents a multitude of actors who have had roles in feature films such as, 'The Start We End From', 'Rocketman', 'Baby Reindeer', 'The Beekeeper' & 'Teen Spirit' to name a few. Emile will bring his experience in talent management to the role of Casting Director for Hope. We'll be leveraging Emile's agency's extensive roster of talent to assemble the cast for Hope.
Bill Smith (Executive Producer):
Award-winning TV and film producer, as well as composer, Bill Smith is the founder of 'Latest TV,' Brighton's leading television station. With extensive experience, including work with ITV, Bill brings a wealth of expertise to this project, overseeing all aspects of production from sourcing equipment to securing locations. In addition, he will play a key role in curating the film's music soundtrack.
