Who are we?
FC Queens Park are based in one of the most under privileged areas in Wales. Our football club brings the local community together. Our aim is to bring togetherness to the community and provide sport to all age groups. This can be done by growth of the Club.
Our Club have various age groups playing under our name that range from children through to Veterans.
In the 2022/23 season both the first team and reserve team won their respective leagues and league cups.
Why are we crowdfunding?
FC Queens Park are looking to raise funds to purchase 2 new dug outs.
Now under a new team of people, the adult section are working towards a 3 year plan to better the Club and move forward in the Welsh Pyramid.
As some of you know, equipment is not cheap and funding in grassroots football at our level is not easily accessible. Due to being a Club in an under privileged area, money is not readily available or easy to come by.
We are asking for help to raise funds so as we can move towards our goals, aspirations and growth as a Club
How we’ll spend the money raised
Money raised will go towards two dug outs to be placed within our new home at the Queensway Stadium. Dug outs are a requirement from Tier 4 upwards.
Community impact
Being able to purchase dug outs will not only help us move from our previous pitch of basic standard but are criteria for moving forwards in climbing the Welsh Tier system and gaining promotion.
Moving forward for the club, this will allow the community to get more involved, give more security by moving to our new facilities and will hopefully help us grow in numbers as a club.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
