Nicola is a local healthworker in the NHS, and a part-time student of Social Sciences with Environment and Politics with the Open University.
She has a history of anti-war and anti-cuts campaigning, and joined the Green Party in April 2014 after researching Green policies on democracy, equality and social justice, as well as the environment. Nicola was selected to stand as candidate for East Surrey by a ballot of all Surrey Green Party members.
Everyone deserves the chance to vote for real change, but elections are expensive.
And unlike the other main parties, the Greens are not backed by corporate donors- we rely on people like you.
We are looking to raise £500 initially, to cover the deposit for the general election.
If you can help us beat that target, we are adding a stretch target of another £800, to cover the cost of printing a leaflet to be delivered to every household in East Surrey, to let them know they have the opportunity to vote Green.
We know that the more people hear about Green policies and values, the more they find themselves supporting them.
On the voteforpolicies.org.uk website, the Greens are the most popular party both in this constituency and in the whole of Britain.

Anything you can pledge today will make a real difference.
If you aren’t able to contribute financially, you can still help Nicola’s campaign by telling your friends or sharing this page on social media, and by helping to deliver leaflets, or display a poster at election time. Please contact [email protected] [email protected] to offer help.
Finally, of course, don’t forget that your vote counts on 7 May!
