We're still collecting donations
On the 26th October 2020 we'd raised £60 with 2 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We need to raise enough to purchase new equipment so we can expand and improve our product range and customer reach.

In March at the beginning of the pandemic I was made redundant. Myself and partner found this to be a very trying time with 4 children to look after. We had a family holiday booked which, sadly got cancelled due to Covid-19. We received a refund and invested this in Ed's Pizza - part baked pizza, packaged and delivered to your door. We sought permission from our landlord and council. We decorated and cleaned our kitchen. We designed and created an ecommerce website and set up on 2 social platforms. We purchased a cheap pizza oven, large dough mixer, an additional domestic fridge and smaller items to help with the production and packaging. Soon into production we found our oven to be inconsistent, this resulted in the loss of 1 of our 2 pizza ranges as well as slowing down production. Refrigeration is also a problem, due to limited storage we have limited product availability.
We are seeking funds to help expand Ed's Pizza range and customer reach. We plan to use this to purchase an efficient high quality pizza oven, commercial refrigeration, marketing, packaging and additional storage. With these purchases we can at a minimum, quadruple our sales. We can introduce our gourmet range. We can deliver to surrounding areas and fulfil current demand. We would also like to introduce a desserts range.
Our long term goal is to open a Pizzeria specialising in wood fired Neapolitan pizza and other specialist bread products alongside Ed's Bake at Home range. They would both operate at the same premises offering customers a glimpse at the Ed's Bake at Home production and to enjoy a relaxing and unique dining experience with a twist.
We are currently in the process of volunteering alongside Sophie and her team who set up our local Community Network and Outreach Service back in March. Sophie and her team supported our community through the pandemic and continues to do so. We saw their 'little cooks' on social media with their pizza kits and we suggested we could teach the children how to hand stretch the dough. From there, we have also agreed to teach basic cooking skills to those who struggle to cook on a low budget.
