We're still collecting donations

Help us recover from the huge losses we suffered in covid and help us get back on track again so we can pay our debts

On the 13th June 2024 we'd raised £8,715 with 89 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
With the money we raise we will be able to pay back some of our more high interest loans and pay back our teachers who have outstanding invoices for the work they've done. We can then increase the number and variety of classes we offer as well as teaching out into new avenues such as paid performance work for our students, cabaret nights and other exciting projects. We can also help grow our community to include those on lower incomes by offering subsidised classes.
As many of you know, the creative arts suffered dreadfully during covid and we were no different. Our studio closed on and off for a whole year and the grants we got didn't even cover our rent. When we did reopen we ran our classes at a loss for well over a year so we could help our teachers earn some money and get the community back together again. We had to incur huge debts to do this including maxing out all credit and loans available to us as a business and to our director Maria personally. With all these debts we're struggling to get our teachers paid on time and we can't afford to buy any new equipment or replace old equipment.
We know how important Cloud is to you, our students, and to our teachers. For some it is their entire livelihood. Our director Maria hasn't taken a wage from Cloud since 2020 and has had to seek other work to pay back the debts.
At the beginning of this year we finally reached the stage where we were breaking even again and we became a viable company once more, but we still have huge amounts of debt to pay off and ever increasing interest makes this an uphill struggle.
To help us get back on track we are seeking donations from our community so that we can repay our debts to both financial institutions and our teachers so they can continue to give you the best aerial experiences and the most caring community.
We appreciate that times right now are hard for everyone and we thank you for any small amount you might be able to donate so we can pay off our loans and stop incurring such huge interest payments.
