Hello, my name is Sara, and I am fundraising to support a family from Gaza who urgently needs to escape the escalating violence and instability in their region. This family needs immediate assistance to relocate to a safer area where they can live in peace and security.
The Al-Najjar family consists of Asma and her 5 children. Recent events have placed their lives in imminent danger, making it crucial for them to relocate as soon as possible. Having been displaced 5 times, each move has taken a toll on their mental and physical well-being. With 5 young children, the constant upheaval has been especially traumatic. The children, ranging from a toddler to a teenager, have been uprooted from their schools and friends, each move removing their sense of security and normalcy.
For Asma, the situation has been mentally and emotionally devastating. Managing the needs of five children, whilst coping with her own psychological distress, and the relentless uncertainty of their future have left her feeling overwhelmed and desperate for a permanent solution.
Our goal is to raise £10,000 to cover the costs associated with their escape and resettlement. The funds will be used for:
- Transportation costs to cross the border
- Living expenses for all 6 members of the family
