How it happen and why we need your help?
Apolo was attacked by another dog on the 4th of Sept 2024. The other dog's collar snapped and he lunged on our dog ripping his left paw skin off.
Unfortunately, the other owner didn't want to take responsibility for his dog's attack on Apolo 😔
He didn't want to provide his contact, he doesn't have insurance and doesn't want to help with Apolo's vet bills. And he continues to use the same retractable lead that snapped before his dog launched on ours.
We understand it was an accident and we are facing a £1800 vet bill that we are unable to cover. We already contacted 101 and the dog warden. Dog-dog attacks are not a crime (unless dangerous breeds).
Nuno and I are asking family, friends and anyone that wants to help and support us to pay these vet bills. Please find the estimate and receipts below.
