Help A Young Entrepreneur To Expand

I am Darcy the founder/CEO of Cutie Pawtootie, I am a young entrepreneur and this is my story...

I found my love for design whilst studying textiles at GCSE, where I based my final pieces on my love for dogs. I wanted to stand out to the examiner and instead of going down the usual dress making route I designed outfits for my dogs.

 When schools were shut down in March my mental health diminished massively, not being able to do anymore work towards my final grades I became more and more anxious. So to fill up my time and to distract myself I designed more outfits for my furry four legged friends and really channelled my creativity. 

Results day came and the only grade Boris awarded me was in textiles, I have always struggled at school with my confidence and my studies, having a short attention span I found it hard to concentrate in lessons, just as we went into lockdown I was diagnosed with and medicated for ADHD. This is when my parents encouraged me to set up my own business, rounding up all my passions and talents into one. 

I started with basic designs using fabric from my local craft stores making bows and bandanas at my kitchen table with a sewing machine a neighbour let me borrow. I set up an Instagram account to advertise my creations, at first the sales were slow and I was loosing hope but I pursued and never gave up.

Now after a year of hard work and dedication I have gained over 20,000 followers on Instagram! Sold my products to customers worldwide! I have now designed and launched my very own ready made harness set. 

It would be my absolute dream to take my small business to the next level, increase my product range and be able to sell my products to wholesalers worldwide.

 In order to make my dream come true I need to raise capital.
