After nearly a decade in an abusive marriage, I made the hardest and bravest decision of my life in 2021: I left. What followed was a relentless legal battle, emotional trauma, and a financial mountain that I’m still trying to climb. My ex made sure it wasn’t easy—dragging me through the courts, forcing me to spend thousands upon thousands in legal fees just to protect myself and my two children.

To survive, I hustled like my life depended on it—because it did. I juggled up to four jobs at once: delivering sushi across London in the early mornings, working my 9–5 from home, doing freelance recruitment across U.S. time zones during the day, and Amazon driving in the evenings. I still work three jobs today—including elder care on evenings and weekends—just to keep the lights on and food on the table.

We’re finally safe. My children and I now live in peace. But I’m drowning in debt from the legal fight it took to get here. I’m asking for help to clear my credit card debt so I can breathe for the first time in years. If you’re in a position to help, I can’t tell you how much it would mean to me and my family.
