My friends daughter Aaliyah was diagnosed with high-risk B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemiua (B-ALL) in June of this year a few weeks before her second birthday.

She is currently receiving treatment as both an inpatient and outpatient under the care of Starship Children’s Hospital’s Oncology and Haematology Department.

Unfortunately, Aaliyah’s cancer is serious and considered a life threatening diagnosis. The treatment that Aaliyah is receiving compromises her immune system, making her more susceptible to serious infections.

Aaliyah has shown remarkable strength throughout this difficult journey, but the battle against cancer is not an easy one. Each day brings new challenges, from managing the side effects of chemotherapy to the emotional toll that such a diagnosis takes on a young child and her family.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant impact on Aaliyah's journey and the journeys of many other children facing similar battles.

Thank you for standing with us during this challenging time. Your kindness and support mean the world to us. Together, we can make a difference in Aaliyah’s life and the lives of countless other children who deserve a chance at a healthier future.
