Me and the wife, thought writing stories whilst trying to keep two small children alive would be a great idea. Possibly bitten off more then we can chew but here we are!
Both working for the ambulance service, and having two children who love the nee naws we knew what the books would be about.
The boys have loved made up stories of mummies adventures in the ambulance ever since they were little, and we saw the importance of children not fearing the ambulance and what they might see and how to help if ever the need arises.
In all fairness this has been our escapism, our time to enjoy away from the word mummy, hungry, help me, play with me, and we have loved every minute of it. That might be a bit of a lie but you know what we mean.
So two nearly three books in and lots of advice and support has brought us to asking for a bit more of your lots loving ways.
It never feels right doing these things, but we have been encouraged and pushed to using this as a platform to try and get the book published and illustrated as this is such a costly thing to do if we want to get it right for us and the book. Any money however small gets us on the starting blocks to getting the book out there. But see it as buying a book that’s not quite ready yet.
We are forever grateful for all the support, we have had lots of it over the years. Thank you for taking time out to read this and again any help is greatly received.
