To celebrate NF Awareness Month this May you have an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference to those living with NF1.
NF1 is genetic condition that affects around 1:3000 people. It has multiple and varied symptoms that include: Café-au-lait skin spots and freckling, Lisch Nodules on the iris of the eye, Neurofibromas on or under the skin, Learning Differences & Disabilities, Bone Abnormalities including Scoliosis.
By making a £5 donation not only will you be making a valuable contribution to the work of the Childhood Tumour Trust (CTT), but you will also gain exclusive access to an award winning and fully accessible short film - a coming-of-age story about a teenage age girl living with NF1. The film features two CTT NF Warriors, Tansy Smethurst and Layla Clarke.
Hedgehog was made by Shanty Productions with support from CTT. Throughout 2024/25 it has won awards and been selected at many prestigious film festivals around the world.
Your donation will help fund, create and sustain a range of activities and opportunities offered by CTT such as an annual 4-day Adventure Camp, family days out to Alton Towers and Chessington World of Adventures, and online cooking and crafting classes to name but a few.
All proceeds from donations will go to the Childhood Tumour Trust.
