To tell a thrilling story through unique visuals; colourful and dull. This is a short film that will stick with the audience post viewing.

We're still collecting donations

On the 31st January 2025 we'd raised £1,020 with 20 supporters in 64 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

HELLO! We are a team of four filmmakers in our final year of university.

The aim of our project is to explore the ideas of quick genre changes from colourful and happy vibes to shocking dullness and moody lighting that will put you on edge.

Synopsis: Ruby has a very ambitious idea that she can save people from frozen, as if to be reborn again for a second shot at life. Her sister, Beth, wants to know what this idea is all about, but Ruby keeps things semi under wraps as Beth often shoots down the ideas she comes up with, causing them to fail. Ruby gets too into her head about her ideas that she plans a live stage performance to 'show the world what she can do' but it all goes wrong when she slips up during her act and reveals what she has done.

Our goal is to raise £1000 to support our actors and to cover the costs of production- anything left over will help us to fund submission fees for film festivals in the future!

When you donate, your name will be featured in the end credits!

Filming and post-production is in February of 2025 and to see updates of this project, you can visit us on Instagram @heat.shortfilm
