Aim: Weʼre raising £1,000 to produce PPE Visors for the Covid-19 emergency
A significant number of hospitals, medical centres and care homes are in need of face shields to protect front line workers facing the Covid-19 emergency. We are an architectural practice and we are utilising the laser cutter in our office to produce face shields to meet this demand.
The chosen design is tried and tested in NHS hospitals and it is particularly efficient for mass-production as it's quick to manufacture and produces very little waste material. Shields cost approximately £2.50 to produce.
Contributions to the cost of the material is greatly welcomed. We have capacity to produce approximately 400 shields so we are aiming at £1000. Any donations that take us above £1000 will be donated directly to the NHS.
