We're still collecting donations
On the 24th June 2020 we'd raised £300 with 4 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

.This is my story
I am Genny Jones, aka Confident Queen and I deliver the Gift of Happiness to both children and adults so that they can live their life to the maximum.
13 years ago, after my divorce, I went through a period of sadness and depression as at about the same time, my house was going to be repossessed, I was made redundant and I had my then two toddlers to look after. There have been times when I felt like giving up; when I felt that there was no light at the end of the tunnel. You wake up one day and feel all right, yet the next you feel as if the world is going to cave in. You project this image to the outside world that all is well, but when you are in your own house behind close doors you feel very miserable.
I am fortunate to have received help, support and advise from family, various organisations and friends. I trained to be a life coach to help me further. Whilst training to be a life coach I realised that their were a lot of people who were going through challenges in life that I could help. I then started to develop the passion, vision and mission to help others. I did some free training sessions for a number of charitable organisations and during these sessions it was always a pleasure just to see the transformation on people’s life’s from when they came in feeling down and unhappy to a few weeks later full of life, more confident with hope for a brighter future.
Why I want the Happy Community Car
During this Covid19 period, I have been volunteering as a community driver delivering lunches for those who are in need through City Praise Centre. I also use my own funds to deliver flowers and feel good cards to cheer people up and make them feel good. I also make activity packs to keep children busy.
Having the car means we can reach more people, and as the car will be bright and covered with positive stickers, people will notice it as we drive around and it will bring a smile to their faces. The car will also be use to raise awareness of our project. We will also use the car to make visits to schools, hospices, hospitals to cheer people up and spread joy
Where we are based
My team and I are based in Northfleet kent and the Happy Community car will drive anywhere within the South East and the big dream is to have happy community cars nationally and eventually a happy bus.
Beneficiaries
We will be delivering our Gifts and happiness wellbeing sessions to schools, residential homes and charitable organisations covering a wide age range from children to adults’
What the money will be used for
The money will be for the purchase of the car as well as the branding of it and to get the idea going for the first year.
We will also purchase a gazibo, chairs, portable music player and games so that we can attend events and run our sessions for small groups or for individuals who are isolated and in need of company and a boost of happiness.
