Our main focus is on assisting vulnerable adults by facilitating means that will enable them integrate in the communities. The foundation provides food and housing and support, information, advice, training and advocacy on dealing with the ongoing effects of homelessness and unemployment issues. The charity also supports African Orphanage homes where necessary.

Hands of Hope Foundation reaches out to people in our community who are struggling with food and homelessness issues. From the information that we have previously gathered within the borough through regular chats with residents and different steering groups in the community; it was evidenced through visiting other food banks that there is no ethnic food and there is no housing support and welfare benefits training which is needed as a result of the current increased cost of living situation.
We fill a huge gap in our community whereby people access our services for food provision and for housing advice, training and information. We aim to reach over a thousand people with more food provision and homelessness prevention information, training and advice services. This will help to build more confidence, protect dignity and improve people’s self-esteem. People will gain more knowledge in dealing with their housing issues and what to look out for before renting. We carry out regular survey and polls during our training, we have had feedback from our beneficiaries to appreciate our support and also from other forums and steering groups that we attend.
We monitor and measure the outcomes when we have been able to prevent homelessness. Many people are going through different problems as a result of the increase in the cost of living and they also do not know how to access the appropriate benefits.
