New stretch target
All funds raised will go to Mighty Convoy to help get their next convoy on the road, anything left over will go towards sending the next vehicles.
I am running to raise money to send an ambulance and medical aid to Ukraine with Mighty Convoy.

All funds raised will go to Mighty Convoy to help get their next convoy on the road, anything left over will go towards sending the next vehicles.
I am running this year's Hackney Half in support of Mighty Convoy, a volunteer-only organisation set up in 2022 by four friends to buy and deliver ex-NHS ambulances and other aid to Ukraine. You can find out more about them at www.mightyconvoy.org.
So far 20 ambulances have been delivered to Ukraine, each with a different team of volunteer drivers. Mighty Convoy has a longstanding partnership with the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine (CMAU), who take charge of the ambulances in either Poland or Ukraine and make sure they get where they are needed.
The number of casualties - civilian and military - from the war in Ukraine is mounting fast: ambulances are urgently needed to save lives and take the wounded to safety.
According to UN statistics, an average of 42 civilians have been killed or wounded every day since the war began. The vast majority are victims of explosive weapons with wide area effects, such as rockets, in territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine, leaving many survivors with life-changing injuries. Military casualties are not published, but send these statistics soaring much, much higher.
The next convoy leaves from London on June 2 and I'd love to give their fundraising a boost.
Thank you for your support, it will make the endeavour that little bit more pleasurable.
