Hampshire Search and Rescue is ready to assist Hampshire Constabulary and other counties 24/7 365 days a year to search for missing vulnerable and high risk people including children. The team is also on the county resilience group and has, during the recent pandemic, been supporting vaccine hubs, school programme for vaccination and delivering emergency PPE. It also covers any civil emergency including floods and other serious weather conditions eg heavy snow, aiding emergency workers to reach their work base and /or supporting transportation by using our 4x4 vehicles to required destinations.

The team is completely 100% voluntary, no funds that are raised by the members are taken as any payment of their services. The team is highly and specifically trained in search techniques, first aid, communications and navigation maintaining this by regular training.

Currently HANTSAR requires support raising funds to pay for fuel for our emergency vehicles!

HANTSAR has 3 vehicles A control unit; a support vehicle and a 4x4 (to allow us to access areas that are problematic terrain for normal vehicles). To keep these vehicles ready for the road they need to be fuelled up and ready to go. Please help us by supplying funds, thank you.
