Why are we crowdfunding?
As is the case for a lot of grass roots sports clubs, Hampset has found it is losing funds in these difficult times.
this crowdfunding page has been created to attract contributions, donations and grants from local and regional companies and members of the public, to secure sufficient additional funding to secure the short, medium and long term of this much loved grass roots Cricket Club for future generations of cricketers to continue to enjoy.

How we’ll spend the money
There are many projects the club need to undertake. These include improvements to the facilities at the club, fencing, ground machinery, improvements to the buildings and services, and contributions to youth training. The club would also like to make improvements to the facilities to improve accessibility for disabled players and members, and to broaden out the types of cricket which we can offer, potentially extending to more junior cricket training initiatives and potentially a ladies team subject to levels of interest.

Community impact
The Club is not only a Cricket Club but it also provides a Social Club supporting other local groups including Brownies, Skittles and Pool Teams, Bridge and other Social gatherings. The Club is also available for hire as a local venue.

How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
