Aim: To spotlight emerging voices through new theatre and build a media platform that connects creatives directly with audiences and each other.
Halfway Productions is a platform for emerging creatives across the arts. We produce fringe theatre, run workshops, and hope to build a media space where artists can connect directly with their audiences, and with each other.
Our latest project, The Publicist, follows Marcus, a young author whose debut novel about class and identity becomes a sensation - and the publicist navigating his rise to fame.
This play is a sharp and playful tale about image-making, imposter syndrome, and the invisible labour behind cultural success. It asks urgent questions about whose stories are told, who gets to tell them, and the media machine's grip on industry and audience.
But this is just the beginning. The Publicist is the first step in a wider mission: to build a platform that bridges gaps across cultural sectors and empowers early-career artists to collaborate, upskill, and grow their networks. We want to create a space where emerging voices are heard, supported, and connected - whether through live performance, digital content, workshops, or shared resources.
Your support will help fund this production and lay the foundations for what comes next: more opportunities, more collaboration, and a more inclusive cultural conversation across artforms.
