Time for action. Sick of seeing keyboard warriors through this pandemic. Inspired by Mr Rashford I would like money for food for kids.

  • I work in a Biddulph school and have very close family and friends who work in most school's in our town. I was told yesterday by a 16 year old boy that he had not eaten. I felt terrible when I got home and switched the news on to read about the government's decision to stop free meals during holiday periods. I left a school in Stoke on Trent in the summer and could see the real suffering already started thanks to this pandemic. I've had Covid and was able to see first hand which family members will bring you food and which ones are too scared, poor, busy or just didn't care enough. I've delivered food to refugee's in Longton, watched my wife go out to The Zone to help with the veg boxes donated by Tesco and other local companies. My father in law still drives for them. If you look in my bio you will see that I have raised money before. A memorial fund I started has now banked over £90,000 to test hearts of young people.

So basically I am opening this up for you to contribute to. I will close it on Monday morning so that I can start speeding the money on food. I will then buy food and deliver it to children I know need it and I will then work with colleagues from other schools so they can too. No need for MP bashing, infighting or '#oneupmanship'.

I've been poor and hungry before, its not nice so give me your money! Thanks.
