I'm excited to announce that I'll be running the Hackney half marathon to raise funds for The People's Recovery Project, an inspiring organisation dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction.
The People's Recovery Project recognises that homelessness and addiction are deeply interconnected, and without addressing both, neither can be resolved.
By participating in this half marathon, I aim to support The People's Recovery Project in their mission to provide accessible residential detox and rehab services to those who need it most. I strongly believe in their approach of creating a supportive community that understands the unique challenges faced by individuals in these situations and helps them navigate their journey to recovery.
The funds raised through this half marathon will contribute to The People's Recovery Project's ongoing efforts to break down barriers, provide essential treatment, and create an environment where individuals can transform their lives and achieve lasting stability. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact in helping someone take those crucial steps towards recovery.
Join me in supporting this incredible cause and help build a community that empowers individuals to overcome homelessness and addiction. Thank you for your support and generosity!
