Aim: We want to get Griptonite at Rock Antics, I'm going to put in some money and this is what's left, help us crowdfund for it.

The App

If you've not already seen it from places like The Valley or ROF59, Griptonite is an amazing app to track your progress, compete against your friends, improve your training and much more.

Have you ever wondered what grade you're really climbing? Really want to climb that 7A and be able to prove it to yourself? This is the app to help you do that indoors. Here's a quick video to show how it works:

What we need

A few of us regulars have talked about this for a while and I pitched the idea of a crowdfunder, so here it is.

For us to get the app, We need to pay a one off fee for installation and setup, but at the moment (especially recovering from COVID) it's going to be hard for John and the guys to do so, so I thought i'd make this a lot easier for them. As you've probably seen, most of the lockdown was spent cleaning, re-setting all routes, building new features and most importantly the massive job of re-painting the walls! Well Griptonite lets us take this upgrade one huge step further.

What we get for that one-off fee:

  • Floor map setup (drawn by the guys at Griptonite)
  • Enough tags to get us going
  • Promotional pack (pop-stand, social media videos)
  • Support setting up and using the APP

The Cost - Only £200!

I've got a great deal from the guys at Griptonite, it's normally £1000 but I've got the Initial setup cost down to £250 - I'm going to put in the first £50 myself so we're left with £200 to pay.

Why should you donate?

We've got an awesome little community at antics who would all benefit from this, so it would be great if you could help.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can get involved. As I've said on the rewards section, When this goes ahead I'll personally pay for a little plaque or something to put on the wall showing everybody who contributed to this project, and for donating any amount your name will be on there.
