Climate change is an environmental problem and also a matter of social injustice. The communities that live closest to nature are the ones that will feel the worst of the climate crisis. So we feel the moral obligation to help those communities to adapt by supporting their development in harmony with nature.
Your funding will help the communities that live in the Amazon rainforest to improve their way of living, their transportation and acquire necessary equipment to be able to extract Brazil Nuts and Acai-berry from the forests and bring it to market. So they can make a decent livelihood without having to destroy the forest for timber or to grow cattle. In this way we help them protect the forests for the benefit all humankind.
