Bringing Realism Back to Online Dating

I've been developing an iOS app with a simple mission: to bring authenticity and fairness back to online dating.

For too long, dating apps have monetised loneliness charging users weekly, monthly, or annually just for the chance to connect. In real life, you don’t need to pay £2.99 to talk to someone, and you certainly don’t run out of “swipes.” So why have we accepted this as the norm online?

I believe there’s a better way.

Over the past months, I’ve poured my evenings and weekends into building this app. It’s now about 75% complete. With some final tweaks and the right investment, it will be ready for launch.

The goal? To make this app completely free to use, with revenue generated through ad space not subscriptions or paywalls. That income will go directly into improving the platform and introducing innovative features to keep it fresh, engaging, and fair.
