Bring the Song Back: Support the Goat Song Tour & Development.
After captivating local audiences in Bath and Bristol in 2024, and immersing them in a poetic experience, many weren't ready to leave our world so soon. We are poised to take Goat Song on the road in 2025/2026, and we need your help!

What We’re Raising Money For:
Your support will fund both our development period and the upcoming national tour. Contributions will go towards:
- Outreach: Integrate our outreach workshops with local communities to inspire creativity and imagination.
- Community: Supporting initiatives that foster open conversations about life and death with organisations such as 'Death Cafe' and 'Creating Conversations'.
- Rehearsal & Venue Hire: Securing spaces for creative exploration for the show.
- Production Costs: Covering van hire, equipment, props, and costumes.
- Team Collaboration: Enabling us to bring on a dedicated production team to integrate every element of the performance seamlessly.
Why Now?
With our creative momentum from last year and Mary, the Artistic Director of Dust Ensemble, finishing the final stages of her PhD, we're perfectly poised to expand our reach. We aim to raise these funds by early June to kick off our development phase for the 2025-2026 tour, and begin conversations with venues, organisations and the team to bring together this important show.
Why Goat Song Matters
Rooted in the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, with Eurydice at its heart, Goat Song is more than a performance; it’s a poetic exploration of life, death, and the process of letting go. The show poses an evocative question:
“How would it feel if there were no songs in the world?”
Through a fusion of live vocal-looping, striking physicality, and mesmerising visuals, Goat Song invites you into a mesmeric experience, that asks questions around life, death, transformation and renewal.
We take you into our world. It's an unsettling experience. But we make sure you get out safely at the end!
We ask questions and open up conversations, on the big issues around life and death.
Our Personal Journey
This project is the culmination of years of research and practice. It’s deeply personal - a journey that has evolved through our experiences and artistic expression. And we believe that by sharing our stories and transposing these into performance, we create a transformative, empathetic and empowering experience for all.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Every contribution helps us take a significant step forward:
- Empowering Artists: Your funds will pay performers during our crucial development phase.
- Expanding Horizons: Support will cover production and venue costs, ensuring we can take Goat Song to new spaces.
- Expressing Ideas: By backing us, you enable art that opens up questions about how we imagine different ways of being in the world beyond our own, and empowers imagination as a force of change, imagining our futures differently.
