Raising funds to support local communities affected by recent UK race riots

by GMBatRCN Branch in London, Greater London, United Kingdom

In light of the recent race riots that have sadly swept across various parts of the UK, we are compelled to act. These horrific acts of violence and hatred have left deep scars on our local communities, particularly targeting our friends and neighbours in the Muslim community and others within the global majority. Our mission is to support these communities, helping them rebuild, heal, and stand strong in the face of adversity.

The Cause

We are launching this crowdfunding campaign to raise vital funds to support local community groups that have been directly impacted by these riots. These groups are at the forefront of providing immediate assistance, offering shelter, food, legal aid, and counselling services to those affected. They also play a crucial role in fostering long-term community cohesion, understanding, and resilience.

Why We Need Your Help

Community resilience is built on the strength and solidarity of its members. By coming together to support those affected, we send a powerful message against hate and division. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact. Together, we can help our communities recover and emerge stronger than ever.

Join Us in Making a Difference

We invite you to stand with us in solidarity and support. Your contribution will not only provide immediate relief but also help build a foundation for lasting peace and unity. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these tragic events.

Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
