New stretch target
If we raise more than our target we will be able put this toward extra equipment for the 3G, the club room and make the facility even more welcoming to our community!
Glossop North End Community Club has nearly completed it's land mark project to deliver Glossop Community Sports Hub to the town.
This will enable the the club site to cater for not only football activities, but to serve the region with a community hub space, new changing rooms, 3G pitch and upgraded entrance with renovated grass pitches to follow.
The club house, changing rooms and club room are complete after a number of delays .We do need to complete some internal fittings and are reaching out for support here from our community to help ensure it is a really special place for the club, members and the town. We need your help. Some of the items needed are below-
The 3G is well underway although again this has been delayed due to exceptional rainfall in the summer when installation of the foundations was delayed (the area has had double the average rain fall ) and the 3G carpet was delayed waiting for the right conditions to lay. Tiger Turf are now laying the pitch and we will be seeking FIFA approval and final sign off so you able to benefit from this fantastic facility .
The project has been very challenging with significant increasing costs and delays and has meant we have had to outlay significant sums to ensure everyone can keep training and playing games.
The committee have been working extremely hard to deliver this as well as running the largest grass roots club in North Derbyshire. We are all volunteers doing an amazing job alongside all our volunteer coaches. Thank you to everyone who has supported the club so far this season on and off the field; it’s hugely appreciated but we need your support to help us get to kick off!
