Give Cancer Patients Enhertu - NHS Wont Fund it!

Aim: (Nice) said the cost the NHS was being asked to pay for Enhertu is too high - the benefits dont outweigh the high price!

As already mentioned, The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Nice) said the cost the NHS was being asked to pay for trastuzumab deruxtecan – sold under the brand name Enhertu – was “too high” in relation to its benefits.

This is an absolute disgrace... in this day and age when we are told that 1 in 2 people will suffer with cancer at some point in their lifetime. So half of the population could potentially pass away - does this mean that actually none of us matter when it comes to money.

We all pay so much into society, we work hard and from a very young age we are lead to believe that the NHS is there to help and save us. This is not the case and has not been for a long time.

The government are seemingly sitting back and allowing this to happen - when the government misspend all of our tax money to serve themselves, make big deals and line their own pockets. 

Instead of politicians fiddling the system and wasting our money why aren't they helping these patients.

People, regardless of their walk of life deserve respect and dignity. Period.

Allow these patients the dignity and hope to make their lives better. Give them a chance at however long it may be - they need help. Let these wonderful, struggling and ill people get some control and above all Hope back in their lives and that of their families.

1 in every 2 people at some point in their lives will be hit with cancer.. this is a cause that should be close to all of our hearts.
