Azan Ali is a 5-year-old boy from Kasur who is battling a life-threatening heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). His condition has stolen his childhood, leaving him struggling with:
- Breathlessness and chest discomfort
- Cyanosis, a bluish tint to his skin, due to low oxygen
- Weakness and significant weight loss
- Loss of appetite and inability to participate in physical activities
Despite the love and care of his family, their financial situation makes it impossible to afford the surgery Azan desperately needs. His father, a daily wage laborer, earns only PKR 15,000 per month, barely enough to cover the family's basic needs. They live in a modest two-room mud house, and the cost of Azan's life-saving heart surgery – £ 3,628 – is far beyond their means.
The doctors have recommended immediate open-heart surgery to correct Azan's condition. Without it, his life is at risk.
