Girlguiding Grove District

Overview

Girlguiding Grove supports 9 units of Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (7-10) and Guides (10-14) - with over 100 girls.

Through Covid-19, thanks to our volunteers many units have continued to meet online and in person as rules allowed. We have been able to keep giving the girls a space to be themselves, have fun, and build friendships and life skills.

The pandemic has affected the fundraising and donations that we rely on to keep running. By donating to our Crowdfunder campaign, you will be helping us to recover from the effects of Covid-19 more quickly and continue to support more girls and young women in Grove.

Girlguiding Grove Virtual Balloon Race

We can't all get together this Thinking Day, but we can create a rainbow of colour across our virtual skies! Usually on February 22nd, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world gather to celebrate and think about their global sisters - that's why it’s called Thinking Day.

Let's all come together virtually to support Girlguiding in Grove. Enter a balloon for yourself or someone you're thinking of this Thinking Day! Will your balloon(s) travel the furthest? It's just £3 donation per balloon, and there are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

By entering and donating your £3 per balloon to our Crowdfunder campaign, you will be helping us to offer more opportunities for their Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.
