We're still collecting donations
On the 4th May 2020 we'd raised £2,816 with 131 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To survive financially until the coronavirus pandemic is over, and I can get back to working in music venues again.

I've already lost over £2500 of potential earnings between now and the end of May 2020 due to venue closures. Should this pandemic continue throughout the summer months and beyond, I could lose the roof over my head, and everything I've worked towards over many years. I fully understand that other people are facing the same struggles as I am, but I HAVE to explore every avenue to survive this crisis.
If I can reach beyond the "stretch" target within a few weeks, I'd be amazed, and eternally grateful to those who contribute. It would also allow me to help other people in the same situation.
My ONLY goal here is to make enough to pay basic bills to stop debts racking up. If, and its a HUGE if, I can surpass these targets, I will donate the extra funds to charities looking after the old and the sick during these awful times.
I'm not interested in making a pile of cash from doing this - and I don't imagine I will! If I can make just enough to tide me over, pay a few bills and keep the roof over my head until the pandemic is over, I would be eternally grateful.
Right now, I have NO source of income, and whilst the government has put plans in place to help most people, the Self-Employed, and those working in the "gig" economy, have largely been left to our own devices.
These are desperate times, and I have to try something in order to survive. Music is my ONLY source of income, and has been for many years. Under the current circumstances, I have no means of support, and have just about enough money to keep me going for another week, or two, at the most.
I'm intending to post live acoustic sets (and maybe a full on electric set - if my neighbours allow me to make a racket for an hour or so!) on my Facebook page on a weekly basis throughout this crisis. I can take requests from friends on my page, and hopefully include a wee bit of banter too. With a bit of luck, I'll be able to raise a few smiles during the difficult days ahead, while at the same time, make enough money to keep myself going until this crisis is over, and I can go back out and entertain folks in the traditional manner.
Stay safe and well folks - and hope to see you all in person in the near future.
Thanks!
