We are Age UK Kensington and Chelsea and we've been supporting local older people for over 20 years.
We've successfully piloted an innovative program for people with dementia. It is the only non-medical intervention for people with dementia backed by NICE and it's called Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy. We've seen its transformational impact first-hand and now we want to roll it out across Kensington and Chelsea so everyone who needs it can get the life-changing support they need.
From giving someone the confidence they needed to leave their house again and start re-connecting to the community, to seeing someone who had become non-verbal discover speech again, the impacts have been real and life changing.
We've secured match funding so that every donation will be matched pound for pound up to £50,000.
