Dan and I have been fundraising, donating and volunteering for years, but never together, until now!
We have both had family members suffer from cancer a couple survived but others we sadly lost and so many people around us are affected by cancer every day.
2 years ago I was not even doing 2000 steps a day, I was sat at a desk!
I challenged myself to a min of 7000 steps a day, and achieved an average of 11,000 a day for a whole year. This year I have increased that to a min of 8000 steps a day and am averaging 11,300 a day.
I feel so much better, I am less stressed, my posture is better and I am fitter and healthier. The aches in my feet and knees have actually gone away.
For the last 2 years I have set myself challenges that seemed a bit scary, and I am wanted to do something every year to help other charities.
Year 1 - Cut my hair off to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Supporters, and donated 16 inches of my hair to the Princess fund to make wigs for children. ( I still do not like my short hair :-))
Year 2 - Walked 13 miles (30,000 steps) across country in the pouring rain, waterlogged fields and muddy slippery woodland paths, to raise money for First aid for all to teach year 5 and 6 children life saving first aid skills.
This year for Get Up Give Back, as part of the Property Entrepreneurs Community, Dan and I, will be completing a Physical challenge.
The aim is to raise a combined total of £125,000 in only 5 weeks!

All donations large and small are hugely welcome.
Thank you ☺
