We’re so pleased to announce that experienced campaigner Darius Seago has been selected as the Green Party candidate for the Primrose by-election on Thursday 27th June.
South Tyneside Greens are the second largest and fastest growing party across the borough.
With 11 Green councillors across South Tyneside and a proven track record of action for residents, communities and local businesses, the people of Primrose have a positive alternative at this by-election 💚
Greens are committed to protecting the environment, safeguarding services, fighting poverty and privatisation and thinking innovatively to improve South Tyneside.
We uphold the vital qualities of integrity and honesty that is so lacking in today’s politics and are often the only grown up's in the room.
When you elect Greens to represent you in the Town Hall you know they will be working to protect and enhance your local environment, making people healthier and safer, prioritising protecting our precious Green Belt and green spaces from unnecessary overdevelopment, warm homes, reducing air pollution, tackling poverty and so much more. We're working to make it easier for people to get around, especially those that don’t have access to a car. We want to tackle pavement parking and improve road safety.
