Barnsley Sea Cadets: Keeping Young People Active and Engaged

Barnsley Sea Cadets is a proud local youth organisation that provides young people with opportunities to develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills through a structured programme inspired by the Royal Navy. 

We offer a safe and supportive environment where cadets learn valuable life skills, make lifelong friendships, and take part in exciting activities both on and off the water.

To keep our cadets engaged and active, we are currently raising funds to purchase mountain bikes and essential outdoor equipment. Physical activity is a core part of our programme, promoting physical and mental health, resilience, and adventure.   Not forgetting we have access to the finest Yorkshire Countryside!  

With access to mountain bikes, our cadets will be able to explore the great outdoors, take part in team-building challenges, and develop their fitness in a fun and dynamic way.
