Aim: To get an Independent MP elected who can truly speak up for the change and investment that Warrington North needs and deserves.
My name is Maddison Wheeldon, I am a single mother to two young girls and feel it is more urgent than ever that we have a representative that truly cares about our hometown, who is able to push for the change and investment that we need in Warrington North.
Our society has been taken over with division and hate, further dividing our communities and pushing us apart. We need to come together, we all have the right to our own views, and it is in having those difficult conversations that we can find positive solutions to the problems we face. I have always been passionate about the grassroots factors that lead to many of the issues we see in our society, and I hope to be a progressive, compassionate representative who will not cower to bullies, pushing on for the people that I represent rather than corporate and private profiteering.
Austerity, the cost of living and privatisation have caused great harm to our services and to the pockets of people in Warrington North. It is a stain on our society that so many families and vulnerable people are dependent on food banks and charity to survive. It is time for the priority to be on the people, rather than profits, with a representative that actually cares about the future of our hometown.
Together we can push for the change that we need and deserve to see.
