Genesis Homes fundraising for CRY for Eden

Aim: We plan to raise over £14,000 for CRY for Eden who offer free heart screenings to 14 - 35 year olds in Cumbria to detect cardiac conditions.

At Genesis Homes, we are proud to be supporting CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) for Eden as our 2025 Charity of the Year having found this cause deeply moving and directly impacting our local community.

Every week in the UK at least 12 seemingly fit and healthy young individuals tragically lose their lives due to undiagnosed cardiac conditions. This heartbreaking reality compels us to take action.

With your generous donation, CRY can work tirelessly alongside cardiologists and family doctors to establish best practices and appropriate screening facilities.

Together, we can promote and protect the cardiac health of our youth, ensuring that fewer families experience the devastating loss of a young life.

Throughout this year, we are excited to host a variety of fundraising events including Charity Bake Offs, Quiz Nights, Golf Days, Sponsored Walks, and our Prestigious Annual Charity Ball.
