Gee gees ranch and rescue was established in 2020 giving animals in need a forever home. 2022 we received our animal exhibition licence from west Suffolk council to operate as a therapy farm, both at the ranch and as a small mobile therapy farm, to provide education and support for our wider community.
All of the money raised from doing our mobile visits and birthday parties goes straight back into the care of our animals.
We are always so grateful for any donations that we receive and we are currently trying to fundraise to transport 4 miniature Shetlands over from Italy to come and join us on the ranch.
These little ponies started their lives in England, some had a very rough start, one has a pellet in his leg from when he was shot by an air rifle and one has a scar on his head from being bricked by some thugs as a foal (his mum sadly lost her life as a result of this abuse).
their current owner owned and ran a horse sanctuary in Essex, sold up and thus moved to Italy. Unfortunately, once there she had to receive emergency brain and spinal surgery and was left in a wheelchair for 2 years, and as a result is now unable to properly care for these ponies, which is why we have been asked to take them on.
Your support really does mean the world to us as it enables us to continue with our rescues and saying yes to other animals in need.
