We are Jokes Arts Music, a UK CIC organisation dedicated to delivering creative education and entertainment in East and West London.
Our mission: breaking down barriers between community + youth by producing accessible activities open for all.
This year we are part of Glorious Backstage Arts mas band for carnival. All are welcome to join our float. Our theme this year is Wonder and sharing a Royal garden for all to grow and learn in. Our team is bursting with creativity from music making, drama, singing and dancing to cooking sports arts and crafts.
We want to provide high end services and workshops at an affordable price. We are still a new company and finding it a challenging to lock in consistent funding. We cannot charge more than our current price as our demographic cannot sustain the higher prices. The children and young people we work with all deserve great events and activities. However we as a company cannot sustain the high-level delivery without funding to to support our team. This crowdfunder will give us a good step in the right direction to sustain our activities as we await funding and investment designs.
Dedicated to using creativity, music making, drama, singing, dancing, cooking, sports plus arts and crafts to encourage unity and community engagement. Caribbean Carnival Art's provides an inclusive multi-generational platform that facilitates these goals.
Glorious Backstage Arts is a voluntary sector organisation helping us to showcase our work at the Notting Hill Carnival.
Your support will help us provide subsidised and free places for local parents, children and families signposted to us via Edible London.
Our 2024 theme is 'WONDER' Come or donate here to support our journey to eradicate food poverty in the capital and celebrate the creative potential of our children and young adults.
