Gathers Ground: More Than a Café, A Movement
I’ve always believed that coffee shops should be more than just places to grab a drink and go. They should be spaces where people truly connect, collaborate, and create. But here’s the problem—finding real community in a big city like London isn’t easy.
We live in a world where we’re more connected than ever online, yet meeting new people in real life feels impossible. As creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs, we struggle to find the right spaces to connect with like-minded people. I know this firsthand.
As a deaf photographer, I’ve navigated life through visuals, capturing the world in a way that goes beyond words. But I also know what it feels like to not have spaces built with accessibility, inclusivity, and genuine community in mind. That’s why I’m creating one.
What is Gathers Ground?
Before opening a physical café, I’m launching Gathers Ground as a series of pop-up events across London. These events will be a home for creatives, artists, and dreamers—a space where collaboration happens naturally over great coffee and fresh, locally sourced bakery goods.
Each pop-up will be a taste of what Gather Grounds will become:
