Future Of Taru supports children in the Kenyan town of Taru, to have access to affordable or sponsored education, availability of a staple Kenyan diet each day, with the knowledge that the children are all developed no matter their ability.This supports the child and their family, developing a potential future for all of those children and their families who are involved with Future Of Taru.

0WE ARE LOOKING FOR PLEDGES OF £3.00 AT A TIME IN ORDER THAT WE CAN PURCHASE TEXT BOOKS, IN READINESS FOR THE NEW SCHOOL ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINNING IN JANUARY 2024.
THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS WE WISH TO DO AT FUTURE OF TARU ACADEMY.
WITH OUR SCHOOL PUPIL NUMBERS GROWING IN SIZE MASSIVELY OVER THE PAST YEAR, WE MUST CONTINUE TO LOOK AT WAYS TO DEVELOP AND IMPROVE THE SCHOOL FACILITIES - WE NOW HAVE AROUND 540 PUPILS, FROM PRE PRIMARY TO FORM FOUR HIGH SCHOOL.
As we head towards the new academic year, we are very, very short of text books across all classes. I'm certain that everyone appreciates the importance of having adequate text books.
It is important that we purchase as many text books as possible, so that at a minimum every 3 children share 1 book, a target that we are not even close to at present.
Ideally we need to purchase around 1500 text books, at a cost of on average 500 Kenyan Shillings (around £3.00) for each book.
Thus this Crowdfunder - if you can pledge in denominations of £3.00, then you are pledging to buy one (or more if you wish to pledge more) text book(s) for our school.
