fused glass comeback

My name is Bethh LG, I live in southwest Cumbria and I’m 30 years old.

As an ex care leaver I honestly never imagined I would make it this far through life and thought thirties were ancient if i’m being honest.

Now I’m here though, it’s a completely different story.

I’m creating this crowd funder today as its something I’ve been talking to quite a few of you about, for some time now. It needs to be done. I’m not one to ask for help and with my background, it’s not something I’ve particularly had, either.

My request to you is that you may feel the need to dig deep, and help me get my business back on track. Back in 2018/2019 I was making a fair bit of money selling glass, but I was at the start of my career and giving half my money away. Then after the world ended briefly in 2020, everything I had built came to an end and shortly after that I fell pregnant and focused all my energies until now, on being a mum.

Now, I have the experience and the confidence to do it all by myself, for myself and I am even hoping to give to local charities when it is appropriate. I’ve invested so much into raw materials already, the one thing I need is a kiln. I’m looking at £1500. I have everything else, enough to make £10K worth of pendants to be precise, just not enough capital to buy the equipment to melt it, and that’s where you come in,

If you can contribute anything toward this crowdfunder so I can buy my own kiln, it would be much appreciated.

I’m not one to ask for help, this is the one and only time I will ask for anything from you.

Help me reach my goal and get my business back on track, after multiple setbacks I am determined to make it work. To be profitable, to be financially free enough to bless others and to use my time to help and develop the same skills in other disadvantaged people. But most importantly, i want to be able to make beautiful things for beautiful people.
