Aim: I am raising funds to support Sudanese asylum seekers in the UK
I am raising funds to support Sudanese (and other) asylum seekers and refugees in the UK. This is needed now more than ever. For the past two years, I have volunteered with Waging Peace and with Care4Calais to provide emergency items or support (clothes, phones, food, access to lawyers) and longer term social support, friendship, and help building a new life in the UK. Waging Peace will use half the funds raised to provide holistic support to Sudanese asylum seekers and refugees in the UK, and I will use half to provide more immediate emergency support directly when needed (including with Care4Calais).
