Fundraising for Medical Aid for Palestinians

I'll be running 10km of the Right to Movement (RTM) Palestine Marathon in Bethlehem this month, raising funds to support Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).  Please support if you can ❤️ . 

The Right To Movement Palestine Marathon is named after Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The marathon is run in loops around Bethlehem starting at the Church of the Nativity and doubling back on itself – passing two refugee camps and the Wall in the process. There is no marathon route in the West Bank that can be run continuously before hitting an Israeli border or road block, highlighting the way in which the Israeli occupation affects everyday life in Palestine. 

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) work for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. They provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system. 

They are currently upscaling their emergency response amid growing critical health needs in the occupied West Bank including East Jerusalem, resulting from escalating Israeli military and settler violence.

MAP are also committed to bearing witness to the injustices caused by occupation, displacement and conflict. They speak out in the UK and internationally to ensure the political and social barriers to Palestinian health and dignity are addressed.
