Fundraising for cancer patients at St George's

Terms & Conditions

1. Entry 

a) Entry can be made through Crowdfunder for the chance to win one of the Prizes (as defined below) (the “Prize Draw”).   

b) One entry costs £10 (save where entering the Prize Draw via the free entry route).    

c) A free entry route to enter the Prize Draw is available via the postal entry address.   All free-entry route entrants must provide their contact details along with their entry.   

2. Eligibility for the Prize Draw

a) You must be over 18 and a resident of Great Britain.   

b) Entries cannot be returned or refunded.   

c) There is no limit to the number of entries per person. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.   

3. Promoter  

a) The promoter of the Prize Draw is Alice Strang (the “Promoter”).  Crowdfunder is not a promoter. 

4. Start and end date and time of the Prize Draw

a)The start date of the Prize Draw is 3 October 2024 (the “Opening Date”).

b) The end date of the Prize Draw is 7 November 2024 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.  

c) Entries made after the Closing Date will not be eligible for the Prize Draw.   

5. Prize details 

a) 1st prize - A pair of Oasis tickets! x2 (two) standing tickets on Sunday 28 September 2025 

b) 2nd prize - A signed Ed Sheeran ‘X’ vinyl album 

c) 3rd prize -  £75 voucher donated by Michelin Recommended Smoke and Salt, Tooting 

d) 4th prize - A bottle of Moet champagne 

(each a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”) 

6. How winners will be selected and announced:  

a) Winners will be selected and announced through Crowdfunder on 8 November 2024 (the “Announcement Date”).   

b) Winners will be contacted through the email they have provided as part of their entry.

c) The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact a winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize within 20 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the eligible entries that were received before the Closing Date.

d) The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and prize of winners on Crowdfunder. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter through Crowdfunder. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 

7. How Prizes can be claimed, and when these will be delivered  

a) Prizes will be delivered as soon as practicable after the closing date of the Prize Draw. 

b)  Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for a Prize.

c) The Promoter reserves the right (but has no obligation) to replace any of the Prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

a) Your personal information will only be used in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.  

b) By entering the Prize Draw, you agree that any personal information provided  by you with your entry may be held and used for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw.  

c) Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity related to the Prize Draw, which many include publication of their name and photo.

d) All entrants are free to withdraw their consent to the use of their personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions at any time and acknowledge that in doing so they withdraw their eligibility from the Prize Draw.   

9. Limitation of liability

a) Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter.  Your statutory rights are not affected. 

10. General  

a) The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

b)  These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
