Fundraise for Stray Dogs in the UK

We are second-year students at the University of Westminster in Marylebone, London. Since our youth we have been passionate about animals, especially dogs! This semester we were presented with an opportunity to organize a fundraiser for a charity of our choice, and we chose to work with one of the leading animal charities in the UK- DogsTrust. With an exceptional history and high level of transparency, we felt that DogsTrust would allocate our collections most effectively. 

We planned to host video-game tournaments across a few hostels but due to the COVID-19 situation, we were forced to cancel all plans. To compensate, we are now putting in extra resources to use this avenue, CrowdFunder, as the primary source of donations for our fellow canine friends! 

Our vision is to ensure the fostering and well-being of dogs is developed further through economic means that we can provide through community fundraising. We believe this brings together families and communities across all neighbourhoods, considering that London is home to some of the largest numbers of dog-owners the world has seen!
