Aim: The aim of KAYD is to build the UK’s first dedicated marketplace for buying and selling gaming PCs, laptops, and gaming tech

 I’m Kaden Mirza, the founder of KAYD — and like millions of others, I’m a passionate gamer.

This idea was born out of frustration. I saw how difficult and risky it was to buy or sell gaming gear through platforms like Facebook Marketplace or eBay. Scams, time-wasters, bad filters, and a lack of trust made it nearly impossible to confidently trade high-end gaming PCs and tech. So, I decided to build what the gaming community truly needed — a dedicated, secure, and gamer-focused marketplace.

That’s how KAYD was born — the UK’s first and only platform made specifically for buying and selling gaming PCs, laptops, and gaming tech.

I’m currently leading the project solo, supported by a small team of freelance developers and designers. We’ve already built a working prototype and are now preparing to launch the first version of our mobile app for iOS and Android. It will include free listings, secure payments via Stripe and PayPal, verified listings, chat between users, and a rating system to build trust — everything the gaming community needs in one place. 

With your support, the money raised will go directly toward:

• Final app development – completing the mobile app and backend systems

• UI/UX design – polishing the experience for gamers

• Marketing & outreach – growing our early user base through targeted social campaigns

• Operational costs – hosting, customer support, legal compliance (GDPR, terms, etc.)

• Verified listings & safety features – keeping the marketplace clean, trusted, and scam-free
