Aim: To fund a new projector, our current one is getting old, and with new technology we need to upgrade.
We’re reaching out to our community because our cinema needs your help.
Our current projector has served us well over the years, but as technology progresses, we now need an upgrade. We want to continue to show the films that bring us together—new releases, classics, exhibition on film, documentary, and performance events. We’re raising funds to purchase a new digital cinema projector, and as a charity we need your support.
Why This Matters
For many, our cinema isn’t just a place to watch films. It’s a gathering space for friends and family and a place where friendships are forged. A warm, welcoming and inclusive community hub. A source of inspiration, escapism and education, and the projector is at the heart of everything we do.
How You Can Help
We’re aiming to raise £40000 to cover the cost of a new, up to date projector that will serve our community for years to come. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us get closer to lighting up the screen once more.
Here’s how your support helps:
Replaces outdated equipment
Retains our ability to screen the best of international film and host events
Keeps ticket prices affordable and the cinema accessible to all
Thank You
We’re incredibly grateful for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this campaign, or just cheering us on. If you've ever had a special moment at our cinema, now’s your chance to help keep the magic alive for others.
