At St Oswald’s CE Primary School, we are dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child in our diverse and caring community. Our vision is simple: Learning for all, caring for each other, preparing for the future. Guided by this vision and our Christian values of respect, compassion, friendship, service, trust, and justice, we strive to provide a supportive and inspiring environment where each child can flourish.
However, to continue offering the best possible education, we need your help.
Why we need your support
Our school is proud of its rich curriculum that sparks curiosity, fosters resilience, and equips our pupils with the skills and confidence to face the future. But like many schools, we face the challenge of securing essential educational resources to support our pupils’ growth. From classroom supplies and teaching tools to interactive learning materials, these resources play a vital role in helping our pupils think creatively, develop their talents, and achieve their very best.
Your donation will help us purchase the educational resources needed to enhance every child’s learning experience and ensure they are ready for whatever the future holds.
Our commitment to excellence
We believe that every child at St Oswald’s deserves the opportunity to thrive. By making a donation, you’re helping us to:
- Foster a ‘can-do’ attitude: We want to build resilience in our pupils, helping them face challenges with confidence.
- Provide a diverse, inclusive education: our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of every child, including those who are vulnerable.
- Inspire lifelong learning: with the right resources, we can ignite imaginations, encourage deep thinking, and set our pupils on a path to success.
- Equip for the future: our goal is to prepare children for a world that requires creativity, ambition, and critical thinking. We want them to stand strong in their beliefs and contribute to a better tomorrow.
We are a school that reflects christian values
As a Church of England school, we base our ethos on Christian principles. Our six core values—respect, compassion, friendship, service, trust, and justice—guide all that we do. These values are reflected in our interactions with one another, the way we nurture personal, spiritual, moral, and cultural growth, and in the inclusive, caring environment we create for all our pupils.
Through our values, we encourage pupils to treat each other with kindness, embrace diversity, and act justly. Each term, we celebrate one of these core values with our pupils, and those who embody it are recognised in our collective worship. Our caring tree flourishes as we acknowledge those who go above and beyond.
How your contribution will make a difference
Your donation will go directly towards enriching the learning environment at St Oswald’s. With your help, we can:
- Upgrade classroom resources: enhance learning with the latest tools, books, and materials.
- Expand outdoor learning: our outdoor areas are a key part of our pupils' education, and we want to make them even more engaging and educational.
- Provide extra-curricular opportunities: whether it’s a trip, after-school club, or special guest speaker, we aim to offer a wide range of activities that extend learning beyond the classroom.
Together, we can help our pupils reach their full potential and ensure St Oswald’s remains a place of care, opportunity, and excellence for all.
Join us in our mission
We invite you to be a part of our journey. By contributing to our fundraising efforts, you’re helping to provide a brighter future for the children of St Oswald’s. No contribution is too small, and every penny will go towards making our school the best it can be.
As we strive to inspire our pupils, let us remember the scripture that guides us: “Let us encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25). Together, we can achieve so much more than we can alone. Thank you for your support and for believing in the potential of every child at St Oswald’s.
